How to pass verification (KYC) on KickEX?
The verification process on our platform is provided by our KYC provider – Sum&Substance, one of the global leaders in online verification market. Please note that we don't process your documents on our side.
A person under 18 years cannot pass verification!
The first step is uploading documents
In your personal account click on the Verification tab.
First, you need to confirm that you are over 18 years of age.
Click Yes, I am already 18 y.o
Before you start, prepare your identity document and make sure it's valid. Next, make a choice about if you are a resident of the USA or another country by selecting "Other".
Indicate the country of which you are a resident. To do this, start typing its name in the search bar, or open the list of countries and use scrolling.
Select the identity document you will be checking with:
- Passport;
- Driver's licence;
- ID card;
- Residence permit.
Click Next
The following instructions vary depending on the type of document you choose.
Passport verification
Scan or photograph the page of your passport with your name and photo. The passport should be fully visible, bright and clear, and oriented as shown in the example.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the photo or scan of your passport meets the verification system requirements.
Upload the photo or the scan of your passport.
Click the Next button. You will go to the second step of the verification – Liveness verification.
Driver's license verification
Scan or photograph the front of your driver's license. It should be visible in its entirety and be oriented as shown in the example.
Do the same with the back side of your driver's license.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the photo or scans of your driver's license meet the verification system requirements.
Upload the photo or the scan of each side of your driver's license separately.
Click the Next button. You will go to the second step of the verification – Liveness verification.
ID card verification
Scan or photograph the front of your ID card. It should be visible in its entirety and be oriented as shown in the example.
Do the same with the back side of your ID card.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the photo or scans of your ID card meet the verification system requirements.
Upload the photo or the scan of each side of your ID card separately.
Click the Next button. You will go to the second step of the verification – Liveness verification.
Residence permit verification
Take a photo of your Residence permit. The photo should be fully visible, bright and clear, and oriented as shown in the example.
IMPORTANT: Make sure that the photo or scan of your Residence permit meets the verification system requirements.
Upload the photo or the scan of your Residence permit.
Click the Next button. You will go to the second step of the verification – Liveness verification.
The second step – Liveness verification
Liveness is a biometric check that proves that you are a real person. It's a fast, simple and secure way to verify your identity, which can be done on your mobile or web camera. During the liveness verification the system verifies that it's you who are actually requesting verification, and not a fraudster using your documents. You'll need to record a short selfie video following the onscreen instructions. There are not any difficult steps – just rotate your head in a full circle. Click I'M READY.
Allow the use of the camera.

You should now record video selfies. Follow the directions that come up.
After processing the video, check all the data. If everything is correct, click Next.
Your video selfie and documents have been sent for review.
Usually verification takes some minutes but in exceptional cases it may take up to 24 hours.
If 24 hours have passed and verification is still not completed, please contact our support team by support@kickex.com.
